The Green Blue
The Green Blue is a joint venture initiated by the British Marine Federation (BMF) and the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) with funding from DEFRA’s Environment Action Fund and the Crown Estate's Marine Stewardship Fund. Green Blue aims to promote good environmental practice across the UK. The project takes a unique approach, engaging both the recreational marine industry and boating and watersports participants.
We aim to educate and inform our target audience about potential environmental impacts, emphasising how they can avoid or minimise these impacts and promote good practice through three routes; providing information, practical projects and research. Recycling used ink jet cartridges will help fund this valuable work, encourage a sustainable recreational boating community and help protect our coasts and waterways for the future.
