The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust was established in 1946 by the naturalist and artist, the late Sir Peter Scott. His lifelong aim was to conserve wetlands and their wildlife for future generations to enjoy. He pioneered the concept of bringing people closer to nature and in doing so communicated some of the most important conservation messages of our time.

In addition to running 9 visitor centres WWT manages 1,600 hectares of wetland in the UK providing the best possible grazing for thousands of migratory swans, geese and ducks who shelter at WWT's centres during the winter. It is vital to these birds survival that sites are well maintained throughout the year and donations received through this recycling scheme will help to fund this work. Thank you for your support!
