waste reduction management

Government and Local Authority Schemes

EBP is one of the first companies to launch printer cartridge recycling programmes within local Councils & Boroughs across the UK into the community.

The aim of the scheme is:

  • To help Councils achieve recycling targets through the collection programme
  • Increase recyclable waste
  • Reduce local landfill costs

Local Authorities can directly benefit from the programme through incentive schemes. This is either by opting to support a local mayor’s charity of their choice or by joining our nationwide printer cartridge collection campaign for Tommy's The Baby Charity.

The programme offers a wide range of attractive incentives for consumers, competitions, prizes, fund-raising activity.

Local authorities are keen to facilitate the programme as it will sanction the existing environmental code whilst promoting greener environment as well as profiling awareness to local causes and needs.

Available under the schemes:

  • Free post recycling envelopes
  • Internal Recycling Bins − These bins accept the deposit of both lasers and inkjets
  • External Recycling Banks − This is mainly for bring sites and Civic Amenity Sites where the community can easily participate in the scheme.

If you are another Local Authority interested in a similar successful scheme and would like to benefit by having your own scheme − visit Set up a collection scheme. If you have any further enquiries please don't hesitate to contact us on 0800 435576 (only in the UK) or complete our Online form to order more bags/bins or why not find your nearest external collection bank to drop them into.
