Environmental Objectives

As a company whose core business is recycling, EBP has a primary objective to support the principles behind this in our operations. Recycling serves two purposes - resource efficiency (getting the maximum use out of energy water and raw materials) and diverting waste from either landfill or incineration. To this end our objectives are to:

  • Continually increase our use of recycled products
  • Continually increase the percentage of our own waste which is recycled
  • Use energy with awareness, avoid wasteful use of energy and work towards optimum energy efficiency
  • Use water with awareness and avoid wasteful use of water
  • Work with our supply chain to understand our upstream impacts in order to be able to incorporate management of these into our activities

EBP are currently seeking to expand to new premises, at which point the objectives on energy and water use will be reviewed.
