The Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 league 2004

PRESS RELEASE - Gains Third 2004 Business Accolade - Recycling for a Fortune

EBP, a major recycler of inkjet cartridges, has been listed at 86th in the latest The Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100. This well respected league table, published in the Sunday Times, plots the growth of Britain's fastest-growing private unquoted companies.

This award is even more remarkable as it is the third business accolade for EBP in 2004, having also been awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise - International Trade in April, and in October the company was listed as 78th in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100, a table of the UK's fastest growing technology companies assessed by sales over a two year period.

2004 has been recognised as one of harsh economics and tough competition, so these three achievements for the company can be considered to be all the more remarkable. "All have demonstrated an outstanding ability to build sales and create wealth and jobs", wrote Catherine Wheatley, (Sunday Times) on citing EBP. "This year's Fast Track 100 has proved that entrepreneurs who unite a bold vision and burning determination can make their dreams come true".

"Being included in the Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 companies list, receiving the Queen's Award for Enterprise plus a third major business accolade in just one year is an incredible achievement not only for a recycling company such as ours but also for the recycling industry", said Pat Stead, Managing Director, EBP. "We have shown that with our belief in the environmental benefits of very high quality recycled products, coupled with a hard working workforce and committed customers, it is possible to build a successful and sound business".
